ABOUT THE ROLE

The apprentice will support the facade installation team in carrying out external envelope works, including SFS, board installation, EPDM sealing and breather membrane fixing. They will gain hands-on experience in safe construction practices, materials handling and trade skills development under supervision.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist operatives with delivery and installation of SFS, boards, EPDM, and membranes
• Prepare work areas and maintain cleanliness on mast climbers and at slab level
• Load/unload materials and safely handle tools under supervision
• Learn to read basic drawings and follow method statements
• Observe and support experienced team members in installation procedures
• Comply with all site health & safety and PPE requirements

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have full right to work in the UK documents.
• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work at height.
• Interest in construction or exterior facade trades.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a small team.
• Awareness of basic site safety and manual handling.
• Punctual, reliable and eager to learn.
• Some prior experience working on construction sites (even as a labourer or trainee).
• Comfortable working at height from mast climbers and external platforms.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card.
• Physically fit and reliable, with strong awareness of health & safety.
• Must have basic hand tools suitable for site tasks.
• Good attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
