Hackney Council works in partnership with many local employers, who collectively form part of the Hackney Apprenticeship Network. This network was formed in 2018, and includes a wide variety of employers; in industries including construction, childcare, education, charities and many others.
Hackney Council has been working for many years to help to open up apprenticeship opportunities across several local businesses and sectors, including childcare, local schools, construction companies, charities and even a local brewery!
All of our partner organisations offer good quality training from highly rated apprenticeship training providers, and all offer a minimum of the National Living Wage (currently £9.50 an hour) and London Living Wage where possible. The working environments and conditions of employment in these organisations are high quality and all of our partners share our philosophy of creating long term career opportunities and progression routes; not just a job for the short term.
All apprenticeship opportunities offered by Hackney Council and our partners are advertised on our Hackney Opportunities Website.
