English and Sewing Skills taster workshop

What you'll learn

On this workshop you will be making a rainbow heart hand sewn in felt.
This taster session will give you a chance to try out some sewing techniques and practice your English spoken, reading and writing skills for this topic.
Suggested materials for workshop: a note book, pen and paper (for English Skills)
Felt fabric, needle, embroidery thread, scissors (for sewing).
Once enrolled felt fabric will be posted out to you. Please enrol by 5th April to allow for postage.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements, only Hackney resident and UK residential status.

This online course is taught using Zoom

What does this mean for me?

Our courses are normally taught in person. To keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic, we're doing all our teaching online instead.

You'll need a computer or smartphone with a good internet connection.

Your tutor will send you detailed instructions before lessons start.
