Entry requirements

Aged 18 +
You like Maths and are interested in working with numbers
Not currently in education, training, or stable employment i.e. you are on a zero hours contract
Have the legal right to work and live in the UK
You live in a London Borough
Available full time for 11 weeks, and ready to start a full time job straight after the course

This online course is taught using Microsoft Teams

What does this mean for me?

Our courses are normally taught in person. To keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic, we're doing all our teaching online instead.

You'll need a computer or smartphone with a good internet connection.

Who is this programme for?

This programme is open to anyone aged 18+ who is living in London and currently unemployed or working on a zero-hours contract.

You don’t need any qualifications or experience to apply and we encourage applications from groups under-represented in the tech industry – particularly women, those without university degrees, and those aged under 30.

We also encourage applications from residents of West London boroughs, who are currently under-represented on this programme.

We are looking for learners who:

  • enjoy working with numbers, calculations and analysis
  • like solving problems with a logical, step-by-step approach
  • have good attention to detail
  • feel comfortable with the idea of learning new software programmes, such as Microsoft Excel
  • are happy doing (or learning to do) a bit of computer programming or coding
  • are comfortable working with other people, and like the idea of presenting or explaining your findings in simple, easy to understand ways
