What you'll learn

This non-accredited course is for people who have very basic skills with using a computer and want to learn to create simple documents in Word, find information on the internet and send and receive emails.

Entry requirements

To join a course you need to have a laptop/PC with Microsoft Office, Zoom, a webcam and internet connection. We will assess your suitability once you apply. A tutor will check your current skills and advise you appropriately. You will also need to have a minimum of Entry 3 in English or ESOL.

To access these courses you must be a Hackney resident and aged 19+. Priority will be given to those who are unemployed and in receipt of income-based benefits. Limited spaces are available for those who are employed.

This online course is taught using Zoom

What does this mean for me?

Our courses are normally taught in person. To keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic, we're doing all our teaching online instead.

You'll need a computer or smartphone with a good internet connection.
