These accredited courses are for those who have achieved a Level 1 Award in IT User Skills or already have some computers skills and want to gain a Level 2 qualification. Join this level to become better at using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This course is online and face to face.

Entry requirements

This course is for those who have achieved a Level 1 certificate or already have some computers skills and want to gain a Level 2 qualification. You will also need to have a minimum of Entry 3 in English or ESOL.

To join a course you need to undertake an assessment. A tutor will check your current skills and advise you appropriately.

To access these courses you must be a Hackney resident and aged 19+. Priority will be given to those who are unemployed and in receipt of income-based benefits. Limited spaces are available for those who are employed.

To participate in this live online course you will need a computer with a microphone and camera, earphones/headphones/speakers, an Internet connection, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint 2007 onwards) and a Gmail account. You can work with any browser but the classes work best with Chrome.
