What you'll learn

Introduction to Self-Employment is a non-accredited course which gives learners the basic knowledge and understanding of self-employment and requirements for success. Learners will learn among others:
Personal characteristics for self employment, potential barriers to self-employment, communication and team work, decision making, time management, business ideas, identify potential customers, determining and considering the different sources of finance, start-up cost, profit/loss, different taxes (income tax etc), income tax, national Insurance, Health and Safety

There is no formal requirement for this course.

This online course is taught using Zoom
