Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

What you'll learn

In this, you will learn the roles and responsibilities of the first aider and how to assess an incident. The qualification also covers first aid skills in Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). In addition you will learn how to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock.

Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and a multiple-choice theory test.
