What you'll learn

You will improve your maths skills related to work and everyday life and gain a functional skills qualification in maths at level 2. You could progress to get access to an employability course or other higher education courses. *Note: This course is delivered part online (Monday) and part face to face (Friday) at Oldhill Children's Centre.

Entry requirements

*Note: This course is delivered part online and part face to face at Oldhill Children's Centre.
You will need to attend an assessment session to check your current skills level.
We do this to make sure that you're placed in the correct class, with all the support you need to succeed and know about the course requirements.


By the end of the course, you will gain a Functional Skills qualification at Level 2.

Improve your maths skills and be able to use your skills to seek employment, or progress to higher education courses.

Know how these maths skills are applied daily activities, including access to professional carriers such as nursing, accountancy, trades & administration.

This online course is taught using Zoom
