What you'll learn

You will develop your maths skills to help in your everyday life and at work and gain a functional skills qualification in Maths at level 1. If you are successful, you could progress to the level 2 functional skills course. Please note, this course is run online on Monday & Friday at the Oldhill Children's Centre.

Entry requirements

Please note, this course is run online on Monday & Friday at the Oldhill Children's Centre. You will need to have access to a device and internet connection.

You will need to attend an assessment session to check your current skills level. This is to ensure that:
• You are placed in the correct class
• You are aware of the course requirements
• We identify any additional support that might be required


You will gain a Functional Skills qualification at Level 1. Improve your basic maths skills and be able to use your skills to solve realistic problems. Know how these maths skills are important in everyday life and work

This online course is taught using Face to Face & Zoom
