What you'll learn

This course is designed for new and existing childcare practitioners to gain the necessary skills to launch a career in Early Years. With a Cache Level 2 qualification, learners are much more employable and can go on to work in a rewarding Nursery Nurse role. With units ranging from safeguarding to child development, the course gives a broad knowledge of childcare and prepares learners to work in the childcare sector.

Entry requirements

All applicants must be at least 18 years or over.


The course is accredited by NCFE CACHE.

It is a knowledge based qualification and it will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence.

You will achieve a full qualification of the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People upon successful completion of the course.

This online course is taught using Microsoft Teams
