Ada, the National College of Digital Skills are offering an inside scoop on how to get your dream tech apprenticeship. You will be taught by people that run the recruitment process for dozens of top tech firms. Ada deliver apprenticeships for over 45 tech firms including Bloomberg, Salesforce, Bank of America and Deloitte, so they know what they are looking for from candidates.

About this Event This event will be hosted online across two afternoons, packed full of information and advice on how to successfully be recruited for tech apprenticeships. We want to encourage even more people to take up the fantastic opportunities within the digital sector. Apprenticeships are open to people of any age and offer an amazing way to gain a qualification such as a degree whilst working and being paid the London Living Wage what’s not to love?

This online course is taught using Microsoft Teams

What does this mean for me?

Our courses are normally taught in person. To keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic, we're doing all our teaching online instead.

You'll need a computer or smartphone with a good internet connection.

Your tutor will send you detailed instructions before lessons start.

What will the sessions cover?

– What is an apprenticeship and how do they work (different companies have different examples), direction, learning styles, benefits
– How to identify good apprenticeships
– Written applications theory and practice / get feedback Interview practice and feedback with industry volunteers

– Be a resident of Camden, Islington, Hackney or Tower Hamlets
– Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification (e.g. A levels, BTEC Level 3) OR have demonstrated a commitment to a career in tech (e.g. completed a coding course)
-Be aged 18+ (no upper age limit)
