ABOUT CONSTRUCTION BRICKWORK LTD

Construction Brickwork LTD is a UK-based specialist contractor delivering high-quality brickwork, block work and facade-related works across residential and mixed-use developments.We operate primarily as a subcontractor, working closely with main contractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality requirements.Our scope of work includes external brickwork, internal blockwork, precast concrete panel installation, and external wall insulation as part of coordinated facade packages. We have experience working on large-scale construction sites with complex sequencing, access constraints, and high architectural standards.Quality, coordination, and site safety are central to our approach, ensuring consistent delivery and reliable performance across all projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Bricklayer will be responsible for carrying out high-quality brickwork and block work on the Britannia Phase 2B development. The role involves working in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements, contributing to the successful delivery of a major residential regeneration project.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out brickwork and blockwork to a high standard.
• Work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Construct external masonry, including walls, openings, and features.
• Install associated components such as lintels, wall ties.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Use tools, materials, and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with site management, supervisors, and other trades.
• Identify and report defects, hazards, or quality issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards across work areas.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timescales while maintaining quality.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying or equivalent.
• Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Health & Safety awareness training.

Essential Skills

• Experience carrying out brickwork and blockwork on residential construction projects.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of quality standards for external masonry.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements on active construction sites.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on a large development.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
• Awareness of working on occupied or partially occupied sites.
