Location: Hybrid Working(Remote & Office base)
Job Details:
The Hackney Council Customer Service Team is looking for Full-Time Call Centre Agents(Not Limited to Call Centre Agent Role) open to learn many different services based on service demands.
Hackney Council Customer Services requires agents to process calls although other areas of Customer Services may form part of the role.
The initial duration of the role will be 3 months.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following traits.
- Dedicated to excellent customer service
- Able to solve problems and resolve issues at the first point of contact
- To take ownership of calls
- To take instructions and learn quickly
- Work in what can be at times a pressured environment
- Work with the rest of the team to deliver excellent results
- Excellent communication skills
Training
Training will be at the Hackney Service Centre(HSC) and will last approximately 10 days Full-Time.
Training may be run within normal working hours, but outside of the shift pattern listed.
Working Interview if Successful
We will then put them through one week of training and evaluation. Which will be a week long “Working Interview”. If they are not deemed to be able to work to the required standard their contract will be terminated.
Shifts Required
We are currently looking for part-time staff, who will be working 36 hours(Subject to change) per week. Monday to Friday. The opening times of the service area are TBC and the shifts would fall within those hours.

We are particularly keen to see candidates who are able to be flexible with their working times and are able to assist the organisation meet its commitment to the residents of Hackney.
THESE ARE HYBRID(REMOTE & OFFICE BASE) WORKING POSITIONS – LAPTOP + MOBILE + BROADBAND ARE REQUIRED.
