MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsive Maintenance: Carry out electrical compliancy including EICR’s, EICR remedial works including (consumer unit replacements), emergency lighting, day to day reactive repairs and full rewires
  • High Standard of Workmanship: Ensuring that the work carried out meets high-quality standards is a key part of the job.
  • Timeliness and Productivity: Completing tasks efficiently and on schedule is important, as these services aim to keep properties in good condition without causing long delays.
  • Customer Service: As you’ll be working in homes or around tenants, providing friendly, professional, flexible and helpful service is crucial for maintaining good relationships with clients and residents.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems. 
  • Experience of working on planned maintenance and reactive emergency works within the Local Authority/Social Housing sector is highly valuable in this role. 
  • NVQ L3/AM2.
  • Be qualified for the 18th Edition (or later).

Working Times: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 plus overtime/call out rota.

Salary: Up to £42,000 basic per annum, dependant on experience OTE £55,000 with bonuses/overtime and pricework.

Equipment provided: Company Van (Full, Clean UK Driving Licence essential), Fuel Card, Purchase Card, Uniform, Samsung Tablet.
