Supported Internship work experience at Hackney council & Homerton University Hospital
Hackney Council’s Supported Internship programme. This programme supports the DFN Project Search module. This is a recognised module all over the world that supports young people with learning disabilities, autism and other disabilities gain real life work experience. For young people ages 16-24 years old.
Throughout the academic year, September to July (term time only), young people on the programme will be based at Hackney Council or Homerton University Hospital and take part in 3 job placements in various departments. This programme is full time and requires you to be available from 9:00 am till 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. This programme is inclusive to Hackney residents and you can ONLY apply if you have an Educational Health and Care plan (EHCP)
Within the Homerton University Hosptial, we have – clinical and hospital-based roles
Hackney Town Hall Council placement offers- office-based admin roles, practical hands on roles such as maintenance and facilities.
