About Fashion Enter

Fashion Enter is a non-profit, social enterprise, which strives to be a centre of excellence for sampling, grading, production and learning and development of skills within the fashion and textiles industry. Fashion Enter has a Factory for large scale production and a Fashion Studio for grading, sampling and small productions runs. Both units are Sedex approved and produce for leading retailers, etailers, designers and new business start-ups. is the UK’s leading portal for the fashion industry and is the sister company to Fashion Enter Ltd. Launched in 2001 the FashionCapital site is a one-stop online resource with a dedicated team of journalists, business advisors and industry experts to ensure users receive a unique insight into the world of fashion.

The Role

The main roles and responsibilities are:

  • Receive and respond to email messages
  • Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate
  • Schedule meetings
  • Develop reports as requested
  • Perform research as needed
  • Maintain filing system
  • Act as communication relay, making sure all parties receive the necessary information and that this information is accurate
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Create and reconcile the expense reports
  • Updating databases for members, designers, work experience, enquiries for courses etc
  • Google analytics for 4 websites
  • Mail chimp report each week – review open rate, click-through rate, analyse subject heading, time email was released
  • FC Fabric Studio – liaise with Anna Maria regarding new fabrics, aim to upload three new fabrics a week
  • Manage the FC Fabric Studio Instagram and Facebook pages, liaise with all customers and deal with enquiries.
  • Support Marketing team in contacting sewing bloggers and coordinating events in line with the FC Fabric Studio promotional activities
  • Update Pinterest with all new photographs
  • Support with all marketing events such as internal open days and external networking events when required
  • Assist with uploading content to
  • Social media content creation

About You

  • Experience in working with customers (desirable)
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • covering a range of administrative functions (desirable)
  • Use of computer software in a business environment (desirable)
  • Enthusiastic and welcoming manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work flexibly and to prioritise training 
  • Tidy, organised and with attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A commitment to delivering front line services to the highest standard
  • Proactive and able to self-manage
  • Highly organised
  • Demonstrate strong team working ability with staff at all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the use of Microsoft Office are essential
