Resident Liaison Officer 4-Week Internship

ABOUT EQUANS

Equans supports businesses, communities, and the public sector by providing low-carbon energy solutions, technical and facilities management (FM) services, and transformative regeneration projects across the UK and Ireland.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE

• Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works, ensuring clear communication and great service.
• Assist tradespeople with their daily duties as directed.
• Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Work on social housing properties, both occupied and void.
• Undertake all work to a high standard with minimal health and safety risks.
• Provide a courteous and considerate service to residents and members of the public.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork where necessary.
• Take responsibility for personal and workplace safety.
• Care for and maintain company tools.
• Order and take delivery of materials for programmed works.
• Attend all relevant training courses, including health and safety training.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills – approachable, tactful, and diplomatic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of construction in social housing and occupied homes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Desirable

• Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g. First Aid).
