ABOUT THE ROLE

Temporary Works (ply doors, steps etc) Hoarding works, Window Boards, Curtain Battens.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in compliance with H&S requirements and our RAMS with the wellbeing of self and others at all times.
• Read and understand drawings, risk assessments, method statements, regulations, and standards.
• Receive, handle, store, load, transport and position materials and components safely as instructed.
• Prepare the site, materials, and access equipment ready for work to commence.
• Use the appropriate hand tools, power tools and equipment supplied by yourself and PAT tested and fit for purpose.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card
• Enrolled on a Carpentry course and all costs are paid by themselves or obtained grants (M&A Carpentry will
  not be responsible for the cost of the course).

Essential Skills

• Communication: Communicating with staff and being able to use good English written and verbally.
• Time Keeping & Attendance: Must be extremely punctual and arrive to site every day with a can-do attitude.
• Problem Solving – Able to identify an issue and escalate to Management.
