ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Junior IT Technician to support the IT team in delivering a responsive and effective service to all internal customers. The role will ensure the organisation is equipped with and supported in the use of the appropriate software, applications, and IT equipment. This is an entry- level position ideal for someone early in their IT career, offering hands-on experience and ongoing learning opportunities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the first point of contact for IT queries, both in-person and for those who work remotely.
• Assist the IT team with support requests, system maintenance, and IT-related projects.
• Support the front of house team when required, this involves assisting with meeting room set ups, event set
ups to ensure audio video equipment is working correctly.
• Assist the IT team with support requests, system maintenance, and IT-related projects.
• Ensure all meeting rooms are checked each morning, including AV equipment (cameras, microphones,
screens, etc) ready for the working day.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate where necessary.
• Build and configure laptops and desktop computers; assist with hardware swaps and upgrades (training,
provided).
• Maintain hardware such as printers, copiers, speakers, and conferencing tools.
• Install and configure software and system functions as per internal requirements.
• Provide induction support and guidance for users on new systems or equipment.
• Maintain and update IT support tickets, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Studio team on office moves, desk setups for new starters, and event technology
• Ensuring support tickets are kept up to date and escalate when required.
