Gate One are offering a unique opportunity to join their 2026 apprenticeship programme

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Study part-time at Anglia Ruskin university over 3.5 years to attain a Bachelor of Science (BSc, Hons) Degree in Project Management
  • Work at Gate One 4 days/week applying your degree related project support skills, whilst learning about management consulting
  • Work with the public sector team on HMGIT projects: central government projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for the following:

This is an exciting and challenging learning and development programme. It has been designed for people early in their careers who are committed to securing a qualification and related work experience and offers the potential to secure a long-term career in management consulting. The projects will be focused on central government so appli cants should have a passion and interest in the public sector.
The apprentice will support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects while developing core project management capabilities through structured off-the-job learning and on-the-job experience.
Apprenticeship details:
  • 3.5 year apprenticeship with Anglia Ruskin University. The role will begin around in April
  • 35 hours a week full-time working, with 3 days expected in the Havas King’s Cross offices.
  • 6 hours of your working week will be dedicated to apprenticeship study + a total of 16 days per year on site at university

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Knowledge & skills:

  • A minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff points, this is equivalent to:

  • 3 x A levels at CCC
  • BTEC National Diploma MMM
  • Access to HE Qualification
  • All appropriate and equivalent UK and international qualifications will be considered. Please email melek.erdal@islington.gov.uk if you are unsure
  • level 2 qualifications in 4 subjects including Maths and English – grade C or above
  • Due to the nature of the work being central government focused, you must also feel able to apply for government clearance.
