ABOUT THE ROLE

CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Leader, who will undertake a crucial role in ensuring the safe, secure and efficient operation of the London Stadium.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to security officers and Control Room staff, ensuring the highest standards of security, customer service and operational excellence are maintained at all times.

The individual will need to be motivated, professional and experienced in leading a team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and lead the Security Officers and Control Room staff throughout each shift.
  • Brief officers ensure all duties are carried out effectively.
  • Manage officer deployment, staffing levels and break relief.
  • Ensure incidents are effectively managed through to completion.
  • Maintain effective communication with all operational staff.
  • Monitor CCTV operations, patrols and stadium security.
  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all security personnel.
  • Oversee crowd management and provide operational solutions.
  • Ensure all stadium rules and procedures are enforced.
  • Complete and review all incident reports and operational documentation.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly audits.
  • Monitor staff attendance, conduct and performance.
  • Deliver coaching, mentoring and ongoing development for team members.
  • Carry out monthly performance reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction and site training of new employees.
  • Ensure Assignment Instructions and site procedures are current and fully complied with.
  • Ensure all life safety equipment and operational equipment is serviceable.
  • Assist with staff rostering and day-to-day operational planning.
  • Liaise with Stadium Management, contractors and stakeholders as required.
  • Escalate operational issues to the Security Team Manager where necessary.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the management team.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV Licence
  • A full driving licence is desirable.
  • Previous supervisor or team leader experience within the security industry.
  • Experience within events, public spaces or corporate environments is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High standard of report writing and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider management team.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding of large-scale public events is an advantage.
