ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Learner Engagement Co-ordinator at The Skills Centre, you will be responsible for building relationships with key strategic referral partners, potential learners and employers. You will be responsible for ensuring that learners are referred onto suitable training programmes that meet the needs of the construction industry and local employers. You will be responsible for managing a geographical area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Contracts Manager, Sales Director and Operational Delivery team to review training planner and courses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local referral partners to ensure that they are aware of the TSC’s courses, training and funding requirements.
  • Host or attend events network or referral events.
  • Ensure that the learners meet the required eligibility for referrals.
  • Focus on Contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure training programs meet contractual requirements.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach, with immediate responsiveness to client inquiries and requests in line with Service Level agreements.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to share commercial and funded client requests for training.
  • Feed and inform Contracts & Operational Managers of requested enrolments and ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide support (telephone, email, face to face) to all members of the team.
  • To deal with queries and concerns from learners and understand the TSC complaints procedures.
  • To maintain a professional image and enhance the organisations reputation for quality and service.
  • Attend Inductions where necessary to ensure smooth transition and support for learners.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary for the role.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Knowledge & skills:

  • Experience of working in a sales or business development role.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experience of working in a sales or business development role.
  • Good working knowledge of the Construction Training sector
  • Proven experience in training coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of client management across all levels of a business
  • Ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Qualifications (Desirable):

  • Appropriate training or business administration qualification.
