ABOUT BRISTOW CONSULTANCY

Bristow are seeking enthusiastic and motivated A-Level students to join our Degree Apprenticeship Programme in Quantity Surveying or Project Management. This unique opportunity offers you the chance to gain practical, hands-on experience while completing your degree, with the guarantee of a graduate position upon successful completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in cost management and budgeting for construction projects.
  • Support senior quantity surveyors/project managers.
  • Gain practical knowledge in project planning, risk management, and procurement strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry training to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Support through the Assessment of Professional Competence to become professional members of the Royal Institution of Charter Surveyors.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • To be successful in this position, you will need to have a willingness to study towards and complete a degree in Quantity Surveying/Project Management – a RICS-accredited course.
  • Candidate must provide a detailed cover letter stating what interests you in enrolling in and investing in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Project Management degree programme and work placement.
  • The candidate must have achieved GCSEs including English and maths grade C/4 or above, 3 A levels and not currently be enrolled in another degree or any other government funded programme, other than RICS-accredited courses.
  • You should have knowledge of standard IT software applications, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to assess and evaluate choices from a range of options are essential.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are crucial.
  • You should also demonstrate problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning and development, along with a commitment to delivering quality work and achieving results.
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
