MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Ensure that planned preventative maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
  • To take ownership of the company logbooks to keep the site compliant, making sure data is recorded correctly and audit ready.
  • Identify any defects found to the line manager and provide a parts list with estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
  • Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by the administration team and Contract Manager.
  • Maintain the professional image of Coniston FM at all times and be an ambassador for the company.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all Coniston FM employees and client representatives.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment. Report incidents and raise concerns with a proactive attitude.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications

  • Good general education with minimum grade C/4 or equivalent GCSE passes in Maths and English.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Recognised electrical qualifications – City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 18th edition required.
  • Testing and Inspection 2391-52 and recognised mechanical qualifications would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of other building services and L8 Water Treatment.
  • Experienced in working to plan preventative maintenance regimes and installation of electrical services.
  • Experienced in electrical testing to BS7671 and fault finding on electrical circuits.
  • Knowledge of lone working requirements.
  • Risk Assessment trained.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of plant operation and services.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physically able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.
  • Able to ascend / descend vertical access equipment and to work at height.
  • IPAF (desirable).
  • Calm, reliable, discreet, adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
  • Full valid UK driving licence required.
  • Flexible to work occasionally outside core hours.

Hours: Full time (Flexible to work occasionally outside core hours).
