ABOUT THE ROLE
The Fleet Associate is a hybrid role which supports Voi’s infield and warehouse operations, helping ensure vehicles are available, safe and well presented for our users. Fleet Associates work under the guidance of Fleet Specialists and Team Leads, contributing to smooth daily operations while learning fleet routines and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet Specialist Associates support daily fleet performance by helping with battery swaps, carrying out basic maintenance tasks, and helping maintain safe and compliant standards for our vehicles. The role requires efficient task delivery, safe working practices, teamwork and a willingness to learn.
In field responsibilities
- Perform battery swaps efficiently to maintain vehicle availability and meet daily targets.
- Patrol assigned areas to correct parking issues, lift fallen vehicles and tidy parking spots.
- Attend and support local customer awareness/ engagement events when directed by management.
- Identify and report damaged or non-functioning vehicles, escalating issues appropriately and completing minor fixes where possible.
- Where possible support safe and compliant vehicle deployment to ensure accessibility without causing nuisance.
- Search for and locate vehicles as instructed to ensure proper parking.
- Act as an ambassador for Voi and the micromobility industry when interacting with members of the public, including supporting users with basic queries.
Warehouse responsibilities
- Clean and prepare vehicles before deployment to ensure quality standards.
- Carry out simple repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Assist with receiving, packing and moving vehicles and batteries.
- Support recycling and basic disassembly tasks when required.
- Maintain a safe, organised and tidy warehouse environment.
- Take care of tools and equipment and adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications, Knowledge & skills:
- Are able to work in a task orientated environment, and can deliver these assigned tasks efficiently, meeting daily operational goals.
- Work safely and follow defined processes and local regulations.
- Escalate issues beyond their scope to Fleet Specialists or Team Lead.
- Collaborate with teammates and adapt to changing operational priorities.
- Contribute positively to the team environment and support colleagues when needed.
- Have an interest / basic knowledge in vehicle mechanics.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Additional /Nice to have:
- Holds a qualification equivalent to a high school diploma or certificate.
- Holds a full driving licence.
