ABOUT THE ROLE

ACCIONA is looking to appoint an IR Administrator based in North London. To provide effective administrative and coordination support to the Industrial Relations (IR) function.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Minute taking in grievance and disciplinary meetings.
  • Assist with general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to basic enquiries.
  • Manage emails and maintain organised inboxes.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and update databases.
  • Support team members with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that the office environment remains organised and professional.
  • Coordinate meeting documentation as required.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) (essential).
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities (essential).
  • Diary Management (essential).
  • Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) – PowerPoint (essential).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy (essential).
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience

  • Grade 5/C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and mathematics or NVQ Level 3 equivalent (essential).
  • Previous administrative experience in HR, employee relations, customer service or a similar environment (Desirable).
  • Understanding of UK employment law and industrial relations processes (Desirable).
