ABOUT THE ROLE

• To ensure and assist site staff to obtain a smooth running of the site.
• Possibility to progress quickly to a supervisor role and complete a NVQ level 3 and obtain a gold cscs card and have a long working relationship with our company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Health and safety:

• Correct PPE is to be worn at all times whilst working on site including site boundaries e.g. Delivery loading bay.
• Follow all site & safety rules including Loughton Contracts safety policy and safe working practices.
• Ensure that you sign in and out of site every day, this could be either by fingerprint scan or site attendance record book. This is because in the event of a fire or emergency evacuation site will need to know if you are present on site or not at that time (this is a mandatory procedure that must be followed at all times).   

Working with others:

• Assist fitters by bringing up materials to work area locations on site.  
• Check at the end of each day before leaving site, that all current work areas have been left safe, clear & tidy by the fitting team. Advise your PM of any issues, confirm that day all is ok.

Housekeeping:

• To ensure good housekeeping is maintained to all Loughton Contracts working areas at all times, to clean up all waste, light sweep where required, dust pan & brush, all into site provided wheelie bins at designated areas on site. (Normally on each floor level).
• Protection of floor finishes needs to be checked every day to ensure that all edges are taped down or pinned to avoid potential trip hazards to others.

Hours/Days of work – Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm
