ABOUT THE ROLE
Kier Construction London & Thames Valley, are currently looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to support the Project lead with ensuring the business provides a customer focused service for all stakeholders involved on the Colville Estate redevelopment, phase 2C.
The role will be fixed term, part time, based on site 1 day a week as a minimum, other site visits may be required. Home working is negotiable, as are how the 20 hrs are spread through the week.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Resident Liaison Officer is a vital one. For many residents you will be the first person they meet from Kier. Through your words, action and commitment to giving good service, an impression of the company will be formed in the minds of our customers that will directly reflect on our good name. It is Kier’s belief that your role is one of the most critical within the site team, as achieving excellent customer relationships is a main route to repeat business.
You will facilitate the smooth running of projects by building and maintaining positive relationships between the residents, sub-contractors, client representatives and the Kier team.
Your duties will include being the main conduit between the local residents affected or impacted by the Kier development, consulting other resident representatives & groups. You will collate, monitor and report on all queries or issues raised by the local residents and ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered by Kier as a team.
Your day to day will include:
- To produce weekly reports on project progress and issues raised. Template reports to be provided.
- Attendance of resident meetings which may occur outside of working hours.
- Deliver prompt, accurate and relevant information through written and verbal correspondence.
- To minimize and manage complaints and stay close to community initiatives.
- Offer support to residents on a one to one basis and be a buffer between Kier project team the sub-contractors working on site and residents.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
This role of Resident Liaison Officer, is great for you if:
- Good understanding of the local area is essential.
- Approachable and sympathetic to the differing people in the community.
- Able to influence people through clear, concise communication skills in both verbal and written format.
- Demonstrate leadership and people management skills within a similar role.
- A good level of computer literacy and use of MS office applications will be required.
