Site Operative

Location: West Reservoir, Green Lanes, London, N4 2HA

Working Hours: Monday – Friday / 8am – 4pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

Blakedown Landscapes are looking for a Trainee Site Operative at West Reservoir centre, the role will be working on site and given exposure to working on all trades as part of a mixed construction site.

Blakedown Landscapes will provide on the job training along with the chance to obtain a CSCS card and potentially an NVQ.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be varied and some of the work will involve general site labouring along with learning skills of the different trades.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to get to the work location, have a good work ethic and be comfortable with physical work.
• GCSE includes English and Maths.
• Must be aged 18 on the first day.
• An interest in the construction industry is a must.
• Some previous experience of the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of site safety and why this is important.
• Desire to undertake a leadership role involving building good relationships with the people you work with.
