ABOUT THE ROLE
Hill Group are looking for a Trainee Social Value & Community Coordinator to join our Social Value team across our London projects.
Your role will be to work with the Social Value and Community Managers to ensure project social value commitments are being achieved, customer and resident partnerships are being maintained and ensuring the project is achieving high standards in relation to social value. The.
As part of the role, you will also be working to a Level 4 Apprenticeship qualification in Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Responsible for supporting social value delivery across projects in London
- Working closely with the Social Value & Community Manager to facilitate social value projects with identified partners
- Providing administrative support to the Social Value & Community Managers, such as data input of targets, drafting newsletters & reports
- Supporting site teams with resident queries & communications
Success Measures:
- Delivery of social value in line with the social value delivery plan
- Effective support for the social value and community managers
- Good relationships with site teams & local stakeholders
- Accurate reporting & data capture, reporting updated in a timely manner
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Experience
- Passion for working with people and in communities
- Requirement for Maths & English Grade C at Level 3 for the apprenticeship qualification.
- Time management: able to prioritise multiple tasks & projects
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Influencing & negotiation skills
- Ability to set & achieve targets
- Computer Literate
- Self-Motivated
- Flexible (there will be occasions where meetings / events are evenings or weekends)
- Willingness to travel regularly across project sites in London, and occasionally outside London to attend team meetings is essential.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
