What is Full Potential?
Full Potential is a programme to support care-experienced young people overcome barriers, build confidence, gain new skills, and access better work, training or education. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start, want to boost your career, or just explore what’s possible, Full Potential is here to help.
Who is it for?
You need to:
- Have experienced care under the authority of Hackney Council
- Be ‘Care experienced’
- be aged between 17 and 25;
- be currently unemployed.
What’s on offer
- 1-to-1 careers guidance and mentoring support
- Internships paid at London Living Wage
- Short work experience tasters to help you explore different career options
- Help with your CV
- Interview preparation and practice
- Support with English and maths, and other subjects to help you progress to further study and/or employment
- Additional support with interview clothes, travel and much more!

Who runs the project?
The “Trailblazers” scheme is funded by the UK government with the Mayor of London appointing London boroughs to deliver the programme.
